SuffolkSpeech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Assistant to join our team. As a Collections Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our collections department with the recovery of outstanding payments.
This is a full-time position based in our office, where you will be responsible for communicating directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility for services received from SuffolkSpeech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients to resolve outstanding balances and establish payment arrangements.
- Document all calls and interactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage both outstanding insurance and self-pay accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Provide status updates to management on account management.
- Assist with other billing and collection duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
