Sub-Assembly Team Member - Night Shift

In this position, you will contribute in the following ways:


Operate machinery and production tools in alignment with quality and efficiency standards safely in a manufacturing setting with minimal supervision.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Immediately halt work and report any significant injury risks.
Document any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
Foster a culture of interdependence by looking out for colleagues.
Address hazards within your control and capabilities.
Understand how your work may affect the environment and strive to reduce negative impacts.
Engage in HSE Training.
Quality

Adhere to all relevant standard operating procedures, process documentation, and quality protocols such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.

Identify issues to mitigate cost and quality risks.
Conduct quality inspections.
Recognize and manage non-conforming materials.
Delivery

Utilize manual and automated machinery to produce and assemble products to achieve the necessary characteristics and specifications to meet customer expectations.

Exhibit a high level of proficiency in core operational skills.
Meet production targets.
Operate at the required cycle time or defined engineering standards.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine cleaning tasks and machine maintenance, and perform scheduled operator care and maintenance activities.

Remain adaptable and undertake other miscellaneous tasks as needed to achieve production objectives.
Collaborate with colleagues, skilled trades, and support personnel to identify and maintain equipment requiring repairs.
Teamwork
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
Complete training and personal development in accordance with business needs.
Actively participate in initiatives to enhance quality, safety, process efficiency, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications


High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment or experience that meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge acquired through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Position necessitates the safe operation of powered industrial vehicles and hoists.

Position requires the ability to learn and adapt to a 5-S methodology.

Ability to perform other miscellaneous tasks as required to meet safety, quality, and production objectives.
