Risk Manager Job Description

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to protect our assets and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate loss control efforts and advise management on potential sources of loss
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize or eliminate exposure
  • Collaborate with Performance Improvement / Regulatory Compliance staff to address identified risk issues
  • Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, OSHA, and Patient Rights standards
Requirements:
  • Nursing degree or Bachelor's degree in a mental health field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
  • Successful completion of Handle With Care and Service Excellence training
  • Strong knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, MS Word, PowerPoint, and business/technical writing skills

Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health Inpatient Hospital and Outpatient Services program located in Portland, Oregon. Our team provides individualized, continuum of care treatment in a stigma-free environment for adults aged 18 and over. Services include Crisis Stabilization, Substance Abuse, Military and LGBTQIA+ Programming.
