Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at VisionsHR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate purchase orders and amendments for inventory, MRO, and requisitioned items.
  • Review MRP for demand of inventory items and issue PO accordingly.
  • Secure and analyze quotations; negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
  • Interview and confer with current and prospective suppliers to determine supply capabilities, transportation logistics, inventory control and management.
  • Ensure PO confirmation is received and reviewed for content and accuracy to meet the needs of the company.
  • Manage delivery of product to meet the company's needs (expedite/de-expedite).
  • Maintain all related documents and information electronically in Epicor both by way of attaching documents and completing memos on: PO, Quotes, Supplier communication, Jobs, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
