Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and design detailed analyses of extensive and intricate data sets: reconcile multifaceted accounts.
Identify and address complex challenges that may involve various domains.

  • Compile and organize data for financial planning and strategic decision-making; draw conclusions and present a high-level overview of recommendations.
May formulate annual budgets for specific departments or units.

  • Perform analysis and resolution, recognizing exceptions.
Engage in developing solutions that may necessitate policy modifications or the creation of new procedures; maintain a comprehensive organizational perspective in decision-making.

  • Implement internal control measures established by management, investigate new regulations, and propose and execute approved modifications.
May oversee compliance initiatives for the designated area and generate intricate compliance reports.

  • Create reports and presentations featuring complex financial data and metrics for management and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute as a member of project teams; support new initiatives.
Make decisions regarding the approach to managing and completing processes.

  • Contribute to unit and organizational strategy; assist in the formulation of change management plans and materials as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation and process guidelines for the designated area of responsibility.
  • Define requirements, create and execute complex test cases, conduct system testing, and analyze outcomes.
  • Participate in thorough evaluations of existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Provide expert consulting advice to client groups; serve as a resource on matters requiring specific technical, financial, or subject matter expertise; support negotiations with external partners.
  • May supervise, mentor, coach, and review the work of other team members, as required.
Primarily contribute through the application of individual expertise.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst

  • A relevant degree
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials and effectively convey information to internal and external audiences and client groups.
  • Proven ability to contribute as part of a multifunctional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Stanford
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Benefit packages for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
