Job Summary:The Physician Assistant II will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans. You will work closely with our attending physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including attending physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in patient rounds, conferences, and other educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Experience working in a critical care setting, preferably in a Neuro ICU.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
