Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing advanced therapeutic procedures, including operating balloon pumps, delivering inhaled Epoprostenol, and performing basic bedside respiratory parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behave in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and guiding behaviors of Trinity Health.
  • Provide professional leadership in the delivery of patient care.
  • Use AIDET principles when interfacing/treating every patient throughout the organization.
  • Participate in orientation of staff and student training programs for Trinity Health.
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices and alert leadership of any safety issues or concerns.
  • Ensure treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders and approved medical protocols.
  • Participate in new educational programs and equipment/procedure implementations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
  • Maintain current RRT credential.
  • Maintain valid State of Michigan License in Respiratory Care.
