Job Summary

The Benefits Assistant will provide administrative support to the Benefits Manager in the administration of employee benefits. This role will work closely with all diocesan locations and benefit providers to ensure seamless benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining and monitoring employee records in the HCM system
- Perform data entry, data collection, and data management
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to provide excellent customer service to employees
- Assist in the administration of employee benefit plans, including health, welfare, and retirement plans

Requirements

- Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Human Resources
- Minimum of three years' experience working on implementing and maintaining human resource information management systems
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop strategies to address problem areas with human resources technology
- Strong grammatical skills, attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving skills required

Working Conditions

- Ability to work within established guidelines to comply with federal and state regulations and recordkeeping/administration requirements
- Ability to exercise good judgment in handling difficult and/or sensitive situations, with ability to maintain confidentiality in all transactions
