Project Coordinator

  • Conducting meetings and preparing reports to communicate project status to the project team and client

You will also be responsible for:

  • Setting priorities, assigning tasks, and coordinating project staff to meet project targets and milestones
  • Coordinating effort with APR to ensure they have opportunities to engage throughout the project
  • Approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections

Under direct supervision, you will manage a small project or one phase of a large project, implementing an established project plan, analyzing project requirements, and performing calculations or writing reports and completing deliverables.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and the firm receives satisfactory standards of service
  • Estimating costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of a project and monitoring activities, allocating resources, and assigning tasks to ensure targets are met
  • Conducting project meetings and preparing regular reports to communicate project status within and beyond the project team

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of project-related risk and be aware of potential issues that could impact the project
  • Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure they follow safety rules and guidelines
  • Promote pre-task planning for all projects and continuous quality monitoring and improvement

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline practiced by the Firm, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, and a minimum of 2 years' related experience.
