Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU Stepdown team. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care, making clinical assessments and managing treatment autonomously. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting our patients and their families during their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively
  • Monitor critical vital signs enabling intervention of life-threatening situations
  • Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
  • 1-3 years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
  • BSN is preferred
  • BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric or PALS Pediatric Adv. Life Support, or PALS
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • ACLS required within 6 months
