Job Overview

Position: RN - Medical Surgical

Titan Placement Group is excited to present a nursing opportunity in Sanford, FL, a city that offers a blend of attractions and a vibrant community. This role is within a well-established and financially sound hospital system.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Wage: $43.20 (additional $4.50 for night shifts)
  • Shift: Nights Only
  • Sign-on Bonus: $10,000
  • Weekend Shift Differential: $1.50
  • Shift Length: 12-Hour shifts (with rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Encourage health maintenance and illness prevention.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Med-Surg nursing is required; candidates with PCU/CVICU/ICU experience will also be considered.
  • Must possess a Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN is preferred.
  • Prior experience in an acute care environment is essential.
  • Active Florida State Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure is required.
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Proficient in following written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
