Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Stepdown team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals who require close monitoring and frequent assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data to inform patient care decisions
  • Advocate for patients and families as part of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Use clinical judgment to manage patient care safely and effectively
  • Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
  • Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
  • 1-3 years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • BLS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric or PALS Pediatric Adv. Life Support, or PALS required
  • NIH Stroke Scale required within 30 days of employment start date
  • ACLS required within 6 months
