Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Engineer II to join our team at NBCUniversal. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Automate tests using available and open-source tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and other deliverables related to the software quality assurance process.
  • Perform maintenance regression testing and analyze the results of software tests.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or related position in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment.
  • 2+ years of experience automating or extending a test framework.
  • 3+ years of experience testing data analytics and reports.
  • 2+ years of experience testing payment APIs and transactions.
  • Familiarity and/or programming experience with.NET and web-based technologies.
  • Excellent SQL and data skills.
  • Understanding of configuration issues related to software development; UNIX experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining test environments, automated testing tools, and other resources in support of SQA process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
