Job Title: Software Quality Engineer II

At NBCUniversal, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, designs, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain test data, test cases, and other deliverables related to the software quality assurance process.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback to development teams.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or related position in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment.
  • 2+ years of experience automating or extending a test framework.
  • 3+ years of experience testing data analytics and reports.
  • 2+ years of experience testing payment APIs and transactions.
  • Experience with e-commerce web and mobile transactional systems.
  • Familiarity and/or programming experience with .NET and web-based technologies.
  • Excellent SQL and data skills.
  • Understanding of configuration issues related to software development; UNIX experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining test environments, automated testing tools, and other resources in support of SQA process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
