Job Title: Software Quality Engineer II

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and QA, to identify and resolve defects
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve them
  • Develop and maintain test data, and ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software applications meet quality and reliability standards
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL databases, and familiarity with non-SQL databases
  • Knowledge of modern web-based and hybrid applications, including web/desktop and web/mobile apps
  • 1+ year of experience testing payment APIs and transactions
  • 1+ year of experience working with automated testing teams or existing automation
  • 1+ year of experience testing data analytics and reports
  • Familiarity with e-commerce web and mobile transactional systems
  • Familiarity with .NET and web-based technologies
  • Understanding of configuration issues related to software development, including Linux/UNIX and Windows
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
