Job Responsibilities

As a Shift Manager at AES Restaurants, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction by overseeing restaurant operations and directing team members during assigned shifts. You will have full accountability for restaurant operations during shifts when management is not present.

  1. Ensure Team Members Provide Outstanding Service - You will ensure that team members provide exceptional service to our guests, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  2. Assist Management with Training and Coaching - You will assist management with training and coaching team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  3. Utilize AES Systems - You will utilize AES systems to run a great restaurant on all shifts, ensuring that operations are smooth and efficient.
  4. Implement Restaurant Controls - You will implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory, to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
  5. Set and Meet Restaurant Goals - You will set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results, working closely with management to achieve our objectives.

  • Restaurant Operations - You will be responsible for ensuring that restaurant operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting our high standards for service and quality.
  • Guest Satisfaction - You will ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Customer Service - You will provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Speed of Service - You will ensure that our guests receive their food and beverages in a timely manner, meeting our high standards for speed of service.
  • Quality Control - You will ensure that our food and beverages meet our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Workplace Safety - You will ensure that our workplace is safe and healthy, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilizing Systems and Tools - You will utilize all systems and tools, including the Systems Board and RTI Task Lists, to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Following Government Regulations - You will follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, and operations policies, ensuring that our restaurant is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Reliable Vehicle and Valid Driver's License - You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license to ensure that you can travel to and from work.
  • ServSafe Certification - You must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills needed to handle food safely.
  • Ability to Work in Warm and Cold Temperatures - You must be able to work in warm and cold temperatures, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 50lbs - You must be able to lift up to 50lbs, as well as climb ladders for general maintenance.
  • Ability to Perform Physical Demands - You must be able to perform the following physical demands: bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching.
