Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Inspector to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our construction services team, you will be responsible for ensuring that buildings and structures meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and structures to identify any defects or non-compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with ECS Limited's safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in building construction, including experience as a project manager, job superintendent, builder, supervisor, foreman, or competent mechanic.
  • State of Florida Standard Inspector License (BN), State of Florida Plans Examiner License (PX), State of Florida Registered Architect (RA), State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer (PE), or State of Florida General Contractor License (GC) required.
  • Knowledge of current codes and regulatory standards governing the Florida Building Construction industry.
  • Valid driver's license required for driving on behalf of ECS Limited.
