About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Inspector to join our team at ECS Group of Companies. As a Building Inspector, you will be responsible for performing third-party inspections of commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial buildings to identify any defects or non-compliance issues
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to clients
  • Collaborate with senior staff members to develop and implement inspection plans
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote our services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in building inspection and code compliance
  • B2 certification required, plus at least one of the following: M2, E2, P2
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and carry multiple items throughout the day
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
