Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Service Engineer to join our team at Packsize, LLC. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our packaging equipment solutions at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and configure our packaging equipment solutions at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to technical inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Training and Education: Deliver comprehensive training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our equipment, ensuring they are equipped to maximize its potential.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest packaging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our equipment and services.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows platforms, mechanical platforms, and hand tools.
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

The Resident Service Engineer will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent travel to customer sites. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and work in a variety of temperatures and environments.
