Dietary Culinary Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our team at Alameda Center. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and facility policies to ensure quality food service is given to residents at all times.
• Ensure that all food is served according to proper time schedules and able to prepare therapeutic diets.
• Assist in special events and perform assigned cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Label, date, and store food properly according to regulations and assist with stock inventory, ordering, and storing.
• Ensure that all supplies are available prior to meal service and assist with maintaining the department's budget.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a Cook's position, preferably in a health-related facility.
