Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our team at Frontier Management (OR). As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food in accordance with established recipes and menu plans.
  • Ensure that all food is served according to proper time schedules and that therapeutic diets are prepared as needed.
  • Assist with special events and functions, such as holiday meals and resident celebrations.
  • Perform assigned cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Label, date, and store food properly according to regulations.
  • Assist with stock inventory, ordering, and storing, as well as maintaining the department's budget.
  • Ensure that all supplies are available prior to meal service.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a Cook's position, preferably in a health-related facility.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
