We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at SNF Rehab & Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the nursing functions to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify daily staffing and redistribution, as necessary
  • Collaborate with charge nurses to exchange information regarding resident care and well-being
  • Make rounds to assess residents' condition and provide special attention to critically ill residents
  • Ensure that individual nursing care plans are followed for each resident
  • Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed
  • Participate in resident care committee meetings
  • Reinforce training and orientation of nursing personnel
  • Answer emergencies and assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment
  • Assure building security during evening and night hours
  • Review incident and investigative reports
  • Monitor meal service and resident meal satisfaction
  • Assist in development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Program
  • Ensure residents and families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current registration
  • Experience in the nursing field, including supervisory experience in long-term care
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and practices
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise nursing functions effectively
  • Empathetic attitude toward residents and ability to gain their confidence
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to recognize and identify symptoms and make decisions quickly in emergencies
  • Ability to train subordinates and organize training carried out by staff members
  • Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
