Compensation Details
Hourly Rate: $28.50
Work Schedule
1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM PST
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on membership and compliance issues with state and industry regulatory bodies.
- Oversee a designated market region and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for that area.
- Manage Participant and Subscriber licensing for their MLS and Association memberships, including:
- Reviewing and advising licensees to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Preparing and submitting new applications and necessary documentation accurately.
- Providing financial assistance and reconciling expenses related to applications and renewals.
- Facilitating documentation signings with internal licensees during onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Analyze and rectify inconsistent membership records and review external rosters for compliance.
- Maintain and update membership and licensing records in key Compliance Management Systems (CMS) such as Workday, Airtable, and Smartsheet.
- Review and manage inbound brokerage communications, utilizing a network of internal and external partners to route inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate consistent communications and reminders for licensees regarding membership updates and renewals.
- Process listing and member violation notices, ensuring timely payment of applicable fines.
- Collaborate with the Brokerage Operations/RREO/Legal team to address compliance issues.
Position Overview
This role is essential for processing applications for MLS memberships. The candidate will assist in completing applications and identifying relevant local memberships and associations.
The position involves managing a high volume of communications, requiring strong organizational and computer skills. Ideal candidates will have some familiarity with Mortgage Lending roles and/or experience using Multiple Listing Services (MLS).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a clerical role.
- Experience in real estate or MLS environments is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe, and Docusign.
- Familiarity with Notepad, Salesforce, Smartsheets, and Airtable is advantageous.
Core Competencies
- Ability to work independently (1-2 years experience).
- Collaborative skills (1-2 years experience).
- Experience in creating spreadsheets (1-2 years experience).
