We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Source Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our 24-hour three-shift facility, ensuring employee safety and minimizing interruptions in production.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the repair and preventative maintenance of food manufacturing machines, including refrigeration and production equipment.
- Monitor and maintain material handling equipment, ensuring all necessary services are performed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, PLCs, and precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Make recommendations to senior management to improve the maintenance function and optimize production efficiency.
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and conveyor machine equipment, including pumps, valves, and packaging equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with trade school certification or similar diploma preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing production plant.
- Working knowledge of industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments, with a strong electrical background up to 480V industrial 3-phase.
- Basic PC and software skills, with the ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds and maintain GMP standards.
