**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Section 8 Assistant Property Manager to join our team at BGSF, Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager with various administrative tasks, including resident correspondence, waiting list management, and move-in/move-out processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Correspondence: Assist the Property Manager with sending lease violation notices, responding to applicant inquiries, and conducting annual waiting list updates.
- Waiting List Management: Maintain the waiting list, notify the Property Manager when the list needs to be opened or closed, and respond to applicant inquiries through the website.
- Move-In/Move-Out Processes: Assist with screening applicants, processing move-ins, and conducting move-out procedures, including collecting written notice to vacate, updating move-out data, and processing security deposit refunds.
- Interim Certifications: Process interim recertifications when applicable, notify the Resident Services team of pending IRs, and confer with the Property Manager to review all interims in process.
- Reasonable Accommodation: Process all RA requests, forward them to the Property Manager for initial approval, and maintain RA spreadsheets and resident files.
- Administrative Support: Assist with answering incoming telephone calls, maintaining office access control, and providing general administrative support to the Property Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
