Job Title: Senior Platform Scrum Master

Job Summary:

The Senior Platform Scrum Master will play a crucial role in leading an agile platform product team, responsible for the team's agile cadence, including running scrum meetings, sprint reviews, PI planning, and agile metrics. This position requires a strong understanding of agile development methodologies, experience with platform infrastructure services, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team's agile cadence, including running scrum meetings, sprint reviews, PI planning, and agile metrics.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions.
  • Assist the product owner in backlog grooming and agile scrum event preparations.
  • Eliminate impediments that may arise in order to keep the team focused on their objectives.
  • Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure.
  • Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform.
  • Provide operational support for the platform.

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. government TS/SCI clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe).
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services.
  • Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Experience with programming/automation/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore).
  • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework.
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration.
  • Ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence (CI) poly for purposes of Privilege User Access.
