Gainesville Operating Room
As a Level 1 Trauma center, we have twenty-four operating rooms dedicated to a wide range of surgical procedures, including Orthopedic, Urologic, Gynecological, General, Neurological/Spine, ENT, Hepatobiliary, Plastic Reconstructive and Cosmetic, Podiatry, GYN Oncology, Thoracic, Cardiovascular, Vascular, Bariatric, Hand Reconstruction, and Robotic surgeries.
Braselton Operating Room
Our seven operating rooms cater to both inpatient and outpatient surgeries across various specialties, including General, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotic, Urology, Podiatry, and Vascular.
We are recognized as a Surgical Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Robotic procedures.
Braselton Ambulatory Surgery Center
This state-of-the-art facility offers innovative surgical options to our community, with expert surgeons across multiple specialties providing same-day procedures for quicker recovery.
Specialties offered include Orthopedics, General, Urology, Podiatry, and Gastroenterology.
Barrow Operating Room
Recognized as the Small Hospital of the Year 2023 for our impact on patients and the community, we operate three rooms delivering outstanding care for various inpatient and outpatient surgeries, including ENT, General, Gynecological, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urological, Podiatry, and Ophthalmologic.
Habersham Operating Room
Our five operating rooms serve the Habersham community, providing services for both inpatient and outpatient surgeries in General, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and ENT.

Position Overview:
Job Summary
We seek a capable clinician with prior specialty experience, dedicated to expanding their knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate will consistently deliver effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a diverse range of complex patients. They will actively seek and provide feedback to enhance clinical practice and assume a budding clinical bedside leadership role, seeking mentorship throughout this process. As a professional member of the VOICE nursing shared governance, the nurse will contribute feedback on relevant issues discussed in meetings and participate in VOICE councils and Nursing Quality Teams as appropriate. They will also engage with the Unit Council to enhance NDNQI nursing-sensitive indicators, RN Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Culture of Safety, and Patient Experience data. Collaboration with other care team members to recruit and retain an exceptional nursing staff is essential. For new graduate clinical RNs, the focus will be on developing knowledge and skills while demonstrating growth in caring for increasingly complex patients. Responsibilities include providing direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process and coordinating care for assigned patients to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Consultation with more experienced clinicians and acceptance of feedback as a constructive tool for professional development is required.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Licensure or Certifications: Must be licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
- Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum Experience: Completion of Peri-op 101 or equivalent, or experience in a procedural area.
- Other: A minimum of one year of experience as a professional RN. New graduate RNs or those with less than one year of experience will be directed to the RN Residency Program.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Preferred Licensure or Certifications: National certification in a clinical specialty.
- Preferred Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
- Preferred Experience: Two years of experience in the specialty nursing field (Operating Room).
- Other: Membership in a professional organization.
