As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal guidance and support to our organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert legal advice and counsel on corporate insurance regulatory matters, including compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Advise on issues related to the Insurance Holding Company System Act and ensure compliance with its provisions.
* Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Conduct legal research and stay abreast of regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide strategic legal guidance and support business objectives.
* Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and other external parties.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
* Manage and oversee external counsel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
* Provide training and education to employees on relevant legal and regulatory issues.

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the bar in at least one state.
* 5-10 years of experience in corporate insurance regulatory matters, preferably within a large law firm or corporate legal department.
* In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Holding Company System Act.
* Strong understanding of state and federal insurance regulations.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
