About the Role

Trew LLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our organization make data-driven decisions by designing and building scalable models and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Intelligence Development: Design and build scalable models and reports to create data-driven answers to business questions across the value stream from sales to customer aftermarket support.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders in the business to improve existing Business Intelligence visualizations.
  • Analytics Tool Support: Monitor, maintain, and support analytics tools (Power BI, Power Query enabled Excel books, Microsoft Power Apps).
  • Data System Understanding: Work with ERP and IT teams to understand the structure of our data systems.
Requirements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization with minimal oversight.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI (including Power Query and DAX), knowledge of SQL concepts and capabilities, and working knowledge of MS SharePoint / Teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Background: Background in a project-based business, and/or a highly configured product industry a plus.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (Software, Engineering, Statistics).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in analytics development and support, and 3+ years in Power BI development.
Work Environment

This is a primarily desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility, and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility, and customer sites.
