Job Title: Business Analyst, Enabling Capabilities

At RGA Reinsurance Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling capabilities that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business users to gather, define, and document capability requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to ensure capability requirements are understood and deliverables meet business needs.
  • Utilize BI tools to perform data analysis and generate reporting to meet business intelligence needs.
  • Train users on system functionality and support them during all phases of implementation.
  • Research, review, and document existing processes, procedures, and functions for enhancement, accuracy, and redevelopment.
  • Assist in evaluating business requests to determine feasibility and research options.
  • Prepare documentation for project-related business requirements.
  • Participate in multiple projects and project-related tasks, balancing priorities and deliverables.
  • Participate in the training of all levels of resources.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members on project issues and expectations.
  • Create and maintain user manual documentation.
  • Coordinate and participate in user testing activities.
  • Respond to questions from business and technology partners.
  • Assist in performing task automation and implementing process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, etc.
  • Preferred: 5+ years experience, Insurance industry knowledge, LOMA Certification, ARA Designation
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with BI tools reporting applications, including Power BI and Tableau
  • Proficient SQL/Query and Excel skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of broad business practices
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively cross-functionally
  • Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis and data visualization skills
  • Ability to adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines, and stressful situations

The general pay range for this position is $74K - $96K per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles, and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
