About Our Organization:

We are a distinguished golf and tennis club with a dedicated fitness division focused on delivering tailored training programs to meet the specific needs of our members. Our goal is to elevate our members' physical fitness and overall wellness through personalized fitness strategies and expert support. We are currently in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Tennis Performance Coach to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Tennis Performance Coach, your primary responsibility will be to create and execute fitness programs specifically designed for tennis enthusiasts. Your main objective will be to boost members' athletic performance on the court, minimize injury risks, and promote their overall health and fitness. You will collaborate closely with clients to evaluate their physical condition, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and devise individualized fitness plans that align with their tennis aspirations.

Daily Duties:
  • Conduct thorough fitness evaluations for tennis players, including physical assessments and biomechanical reviews.
  • Design and implement customized fitness regimens that emphasize agility, strength, balance, and endurance tailored to tennis.
  • Provide expert guidance on tennis-specific workouts, drills, and training methodologies.
  • Track clients' progress and modify fitness plans as necessary to ensure ongoing development.
  • Educate clients on nutrition, injury prevention, and overall wellness to optimize their tennis performance.
  • Collaborate with tennis coaches, rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to clients' fitness and performance.
  • Conduct assessments for new members in accordance with club standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage daily financial procedures related to personal training and group sessions with precision.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts for anticipated sessions, assessments, and new client objectives.
  • Maintain current fitness certifications, including CPR/AED, and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in tennis fitness to enhance training programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential from a recognized organization is mandatory.
  • Advanced certifications such as the International Tennis Performance Association (iTPA) certification are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing tennis-specific fitness programs.
  • Strong understanding of biomechanics, kinesiology, and exercise physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to inspire and motivate clients to reach their fitness objectives.
  • Passion for tennis and a comprehensive understanding of the sport.
  • A minimum of 5 hours of fee-based work per week is expected.
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
