About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our direct patient care team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of routine nuclear medicine procedures of moderate complexity using radioactive substances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
  • Collaborate with all members of the patient care team by actively communicating and reporting pertinent patient care information and data in a comprehensive manner.
  • Use peer-to-peer accountability towards department goals for retention and employee engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with others to facilitate providing the highest quality service during every customer and patient encounter.
Requirements
  • Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • ARRT-N - Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT) OR CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) AND CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure -- Registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) thru the Texas Medical Board OR CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure AND BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
