Nuclear Medicine Technologist

At HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, receiving radioactive materials, preparing radioactive material doses, and maintaining radiation records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
- Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records
- Perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area
- Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment
- Perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
- Take emergency after hours call on rotating basis
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment
