Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will work with a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment to perform tests on in-patients and out-patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records
  • Perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment
  • Perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
  • Take emergency after hours call on rotating basis

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas (TMB license)
  • ARRT and/or NMTCB license
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment
