About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe and effective nursing care
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Provide leadership and support to the patient care team
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse on a Medical/Surgical Unit
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification preferred
