Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, pre-operative and post-operative areas.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Provide education to patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in perioperative care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
