Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data to identify expected outcomes for patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Develop and prioritize individualized plans of care to achieve measurable goals and improve patient outcomes.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate their effectiveness in relation to patient care.
- Identify educational needs and provide patient and family education to promote health and wellness.
- Deliver medications and treatments based on continuous assessment and evaluation of patient response.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
- Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License.
- At least one year of current Labor and Delivery experience or willingness to participate in a training program.
- Current BCLS Certification Required.
- Current ACLS and NRP Certifications Required.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of hire date.
