MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, achieving high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
- Screen patients and staff entering zone 3 and 4 to ensure magnet safety.
- Communicate with patients and medical staff regarding MR safety questionnaires and clinical history.
- Administer contrast materials associated with MRI procedures, as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol.
- Perform quality control tasks to ensure equipment and procedures meet standards.
- Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students, as needed.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology and MRI (ARRT) or MRI (ARRT) or American Registry of MRI (ARMRIT) certification.
- BLS certification.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in database management.
This is a day shift position at our Oconee Medical Campus, located at 1064 Oconee Memorial Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the transformation of healthcare in our community.
