MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, achieving high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures proficiently, ensuring high-quality images and timely completion of exams.
- Screen patients and staff for magnet safety, communicating with medical staff as needed.
- Prepare scan rooms, discard sharps, and maintain supplies and linen.
- Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol.
- Implement emergency procedures as needed and perform quality control tasks.
- Enter and record data accurately, staying up-to-date with organizational and departmental changes.
- Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students, preparing schedules and coordinating daily workflow.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology and MRI (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, and proficiency in database management.
- BLS certification.
