About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of our Claims team as a Risk Management Director, where you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and disposing of new and existing third-party property and casualty claims. As a seasoned professional, you will be required to review coverage under Excess Commercial General liability and auto policies, participate in claim investigations, and control litigation strategy. Your expertise will be put to the test in handling multi-million dollar claims, including multi-vehicle auto accidents, plant explosions, class action injury claims, and catastrophic product liability claims. You will need to assess liability and damages, recommend reserves, and present large-value cases to senior management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities
* Review and analyze policy coverage to determine available limits
* Develop and execute investigation strategies to identify critical issues affecting liability, causation, and damages
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate claim status and resolution plans
* Prepare and present claim disposition recommendations to senior management

Requirements
* 5+ years of commercial/industry claims experience preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $104,800-$131,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will be eligible for a bonus based on performance.
