Key Responsibilities- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members and completing maintenance orders.
- Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including the kitchen, offices, loading docks, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed, including for changing weather conditions.
- Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
- Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- Ensure all areas of facilities and production are left clean for the next day.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices & labeling.
- Oversight of productions QC checks/perform direct observations of on Critical Control Points/Preventative Controls.
- Maintain records, SOPs, SSOPs, and prerequisite program documentation as well as develop new ones as necessary.
- Assist production leads in auditing critical control records and process control points for compliance to product quality, food safety requirements.
- Perform checks in all departments to ensure all standard quality and food safety are met.
- Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID with proof of vaccination.
- At least 3+ years in facilities management/supervision.
- Ability to carry over 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods of time.
- Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance such as routine repairs, security, cleanliness, and employee safety.
- Great written and communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks to a team efficiently and effectively.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
