Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining existing state licenses held by the individuals within the company. This includes auditing, following up, editing, correcting, and responding to licensing files. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain existing state licenses held by the individuals within the company
- Audit, follow up, edit, correct, and respond to licensing files
- Research and track and update of staff licenses
- Research and contact State and Federal agencies to audit and verify licenses
- Maintain database of license expiration dates for renewals as necessary
- Periodic audits of licenses (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly)
- Recordkeeping of state licenses for staff
- Scanning and indexing files in OnBase
- Strict confidentiality and ownership of information
- Manage the front desk when assigned and sort mail
- Participate in projects lead by the HRSC
- Other duties as assigned

- Highly flexible and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Must consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and discretion

- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Excellent follow up and organizational skills
- Good writing and speaking grammar
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, with superior written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple groups
- Good judgment and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Multistate Licensing System a plus but not required
- Experience with I-9s and Processing Unemployment Claims a plus but not required
- Workday experience a plus but not required
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
