Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Supervisor to join our team at Angel Stadium. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for supporting all pastry-related activities and ensuring exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative pastry menus that meet Legends Hospitality standards.
  • Direct and maintain a guest service and management philosophy that guides team members.
  • Meet with the Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, business levels, and other job performance information.
  • Maintain and abide by County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct meetings and pre-shifts to update staff on daily goals and objectives.
  • Conduct continual and consistent service training for all staff.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Provide efficient service and quality products through effective communication and prudent financial practices.
  • Maintain cost as it pertains to labor and operating supplies, working within budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned regularly.
  • Maintain staff and ensure proper hiring and promoting of associates per Legends Hospitality Standards.
  • Exhibit leadership for all direct reports through consistent communication, commendations, and disciplinary action.
Requirements
  • Past experience in the contract foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, and concessions environments for a sports and entertainment venue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must possess a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past experience in pastry operations or a related field.
  • Knowledge of bread baking and advanced pastry techniques.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations.
  • Ability to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
  • Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to accept and carry out responsibility for directions.
