Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive sales growth, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

The Senior Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of retail operations professionals to achieve sales targets, manage inventory levels, and maintain store appearance standards. You will work closely with the Store Team Leader to develop and implement strategies that drive business results, improve customer satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute plans to drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation, pricing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and labor costs to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching team members on customer engagement best practices, addressing customer complaints in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Store Team Leader to develop and implement inventory management strategies that minimize stockouts, overstocking, and waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of retail operations professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure their success.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain store appearance standards by overseeing visual merchandising, fixture maintenance, and janitorial services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.

What We Offer:

Whole Foods Market offers a competitive salary range of $$23.50 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs.
