Global Account Manager for Merck

About the Role
The Life Sciences Sales Division at SAS is seeking a skilled Global Account Manager to support and grow SAS' footprint with Merck. As a Global Account Manager for Merck, you will be responsible for identifying and seizing sales opportunities to build lasting partnerships with Merck.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify the most important opportunities to drive business growth with Merck.
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximize sales potential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mastermind contracts and seal deals.
- Work closely with global Account Executives to unlock new business opportunities across the world.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience.
- 4+ years of selling into the Life Sciences industry.
- Proven track record of building a thriving business through consulting and development.
- Skilled at managing global Life Sciences accounts.
- Actively engaged with Merck on-site to build rapport and solve complex business problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert in Life Sciences, skilled at evaluating territories and creating winning sales plans.
- Knowledgeable in analytics/software acquisition cycles and key buying influences.
- Fluent in Merck's industry, tech, and challenges.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to lead, delegate, and drive projects to success.
