Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant to contribute to our practice. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, gathering their medical histories, and developing treatment plans specifically for headache patients. Your duties will include performing various office procedures such as toxin injections, nerve blocks, and skin biopsies. You will also analyze diagnostic tests and reports, interpret data accurately, and take the time to discuss test results and medical diagnoses with each patient. Additionally, you will prescribe therapy or medication under the supervision of a physician. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional bedside manner, experience in medical documentation, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients, documenting all relevant medical history.
  • Interpret test results and provide diagnostic recommendations based on findings.
  • Communicate test results and anticipated health outcomes to patients.
  • Prescribe medications or therapies in collaboration with a supervising physician as part of a comprehensive health strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Physician Assistants and Physicians to create a holistic treatment plan.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure is mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in medical terminology, documentation, and diagnostic testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
