Ambulatory Care Specialist

We are seeking an Ambulatory Care Specialist to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to ambulatory patients under the supervision of a physician. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a strong foundation in independent judgement, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
Responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality and best practice initiatives. You will also be responsible for performing high-quality clinical practices and effective patient management, communicating effectively with others, and using evidence-based standards, guidelines, and protocols for care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, as well as Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with a valid DEA license and a written Scope of Practice/Protocol. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a graduate of a post-masters certificate program for nurse practitioners are also required.
This role offers a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
