We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unified Communications Specialist to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our Lone Wolf Team, you will play a critical role in supporting, operating, and maintaining the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES).
Key Responsibilities- Lead operations for large enterprise voice and video services, working closely with Network Engineering and Help Desk/Network Operations teams to maintain and resolve service issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the Unified Collaboration environment, including phones and video teleconference end-point devices, to ensure optimal system performance and proactive resolution of problems or outages.
- Provide detailed documentation of major system events impacting services and contribute to the development of best practices and support services to maintain system services.
- Plan and manage all Voice and Video system patch, upgrades, or service updates, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Respond promptly to system vulnerability updates with clear implementation plans and schedules.
- Maintain daily system status reporting and ticket resolution of high-visibility issues.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI or the ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI.
- 10 years of directly related experience.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (any higher version also acceptable).
- Current CCNA certification.
- Telecommunications technical experience installing, administering, and upgrading Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager, IM & Presence services), Cisco Telepresence, Cisco Prime Collaboration, Cisco Unity Connection (Jabber), and Unified Contact Center Express.
- Experience with managing a UC environment for a large enterprise.
- Experience with the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN).
- Familiarity with DoD/IC voice/video technologies.
