Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Overview

We are looking for dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to enhance our team at a leading healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities


Join our esteemed practice where you will collaborate with a team of experienced neonatologists and nurse practitioners to deliver outstanding care for newborns. Your role will encompass:

  • Providing care in Level-II, Level-III, and Level-IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs)
  • Engaging in flexible work schedules, including both 24-hour and 12-hour shifts
  • Prioritizing experienced candidates for this position

Coverage Responsibilities Include:

  • A prominent medical center featuring a 65-bed, Level-IV NICU with surgical services and a newborn delivery service
  • A women's center with a 57-bed, Level-III NICU, expanding to 80 beds, handling a significant number of deliveries
  • A Level-III NICU equipped with advanced imaging and pediatric subspecialties
  • A smaller Level-II unit providing in-house coverage for both NICU and standard newborn services
  • A Level-I NICU offering foundational care
  • Medical services that include high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and total body cooling
  • Support from a robust maternal-fetal medicine program and pediatric subspecialties
  • Clinical duties will involve prenatal and newborn consultations, participation in high-risk deliveries, and comprehensive management of neonates across various hospital units

Qualifications

  • Current national certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • A minimum of a master's degree in nursing
