Position: RN Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our most vulnerable patients.

Key Details:
  • Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Schedule: Full Time, Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am (including weekends and holidays)
  • Location: Ascension Seton Northwest

Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:
  • Delivering direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and policies.
  • Implementing and overseeing patient care plans, while monitoring and communicating patient conditions effectively.
  • Coordinating care across various disciplines to ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Executing physician and nursing orders with precision.
  • Assessing and managing discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Registered Nurse licensure is mandatory prior to employment.
  • Preferred certifications include The S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Neonatal Resuscitation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Education:
  • A diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at the time of hire.

Additional Preferences:
We value candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a level 3 NICU setting.
